Chrome Zero-Day Vulnerability Patch

Google Chrome released an emergency security update on October 21, 2020, for Microsoft, Mac, and Linux, to patch an exploited vulnerability utilizing Freetype software.  The new version number is 86.0.4240.111, and Google Chrome is urging users to apply the update.

If you are not sure which version of Google Chrome you are running, open a Chrome tab and look for “Help.” From there, select “About Google Chrome.”  This will display your current version and give you the option to upgrade.
