Angella Arnold Appointed to American 1 Credit Union Board

Jackson, MI – Angella Arnold, City of Jackson retiree and Chair of the Community 1 Co-op Board, accepted an appointment to the Board of Directors of American 1 Credit Union.

“Angella aligns well with our core values and has proven her dedication to the community through her extensive volunteerism and her strong work ethic. She will serve the credit union and our members very well, and we are excited to welcome Angella to the American 1 Credit Union Board of Directors,” said Philip E. Hoffman, American 1 Credit Union Board Chairman.

Arnold worked more than 32 years with the City of Jackson. In her final years with the City, she served as the Deputy City Clerk and retired from the City as the Personnel and Labor Relations Technician. Arnold served on the board of the Irish Hills Girl Scout Council, Jackson Arts and Technology Academy, and the Jackson County Municipal Clerks Association. She also was a member of the Michigan Association of Municipal Clerks, International Institute of Municipal Clerks, Michigan Association of Public Employee Retirement Systems, and served as Trustee and Vice-Chair on the City of Jackson Employees’ Retirement System.

Arnold currently serves as an Executive Board member of the Jackson County Branch NAACP and volunteers for their annual fundraising Banquet Committee, and she also serves as Chair to the Community 1 Co-op Board, to which she was appointed in May 2018.
