American 1 Credit Union hosted the first-ever A1CU Community Fair on June 25 at the American 1 Event Center in partnership with Junior Achievement. More than 350 community members attended this free, family-friendly event, which brought financial learning to life through an interactive experience. Guests enjoyed free food, candy, Kona Ice, giveaways, and activities for all ages.
Attendees connected with more than 40 local organizations to learn about the resources and services available throughout our community.

American 1 team members were proud to be part of Isaiah’s Hub Parent Experience Day in Jackson on June 22. Our team was onsite opening accounts, sharing fun giveaways, and connecting with families about the resources and services American 1 provides. It was a meaningful morning partnering with an incredible nonprofit and engaging with the community.


American 1 Credit Union participated in the 4th Annual Free Family Safety Fair on June 23 at the Hillsdale County Fairgrounds. This event featured hands-on safety education, interactive activities, and valuable resources for families. Our team enjoyed connecting with the Hillsdale community and sharing how we support our members and their financial well-being.
The Financial Wellness team attended the Align Center’s 1-Year Celebration, using the event as an opportunity to connect with our community and strengthen partnerships. This demonstrated the effectiveness of relationship-building efforts and highlighted the team's ability to create meaningful connections that extend beyond a single event.

As part of the Michigan Works Summer Youth Internship Program, the Financial Wellness team delivered a financial education class focused on budgeting, saving, and responsible money management. The session equipped young participants with financial skills as they begin their workforce journeys. This supported the team’s mission of fostering long-term financial success by providing the next generation with tools and knowledge to make informed financial decisions.
