InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) confirmed that malware infected point-of-sale devices have affected at least 1,200 hotels since September 2016. The malware intercepts payment card information as it is routed through the affected server. Some brands operated by IHG include Crowne Plaza, Intercontinental, Kimpton, and Holiday Inn.
