In 2026, American 1 Credit Union proudly awarded $10,000 in scholarships to local students, including $2,500 funded by our Board of Directors—continuing our commitment to supporting education in the communities we serve.

*Teachers may apply for a chance to receive a $500 grant by submitting the Teacher Grant Form located at american1cu.org/grants. Limit one application per teacher. Applicants must be professionally certified educators teaching Pre-K through 12th grade and must plan to continue teaching during the 2026–2027 school year in one of the following Michigan counties: Jackson, Hillsdale, Calhoun, Lenawee, or Washtenaw. Membership with American 1 Credit Union is not required to apply. Applications must be submitted between 8/1/2026, and 8/15/2026. Ten (10) grant recipients will be selected on 8/25/2026. Recipients must claim their prize by 8/29/2026. Grants will be awarded within 60 days of the drawing date. Recipients consent to the use of their names for promotional purposes to increase awareness of American 1 Credit Union’s Teacher Grant Program. Board members, employees, and their immediate family members are not eligible to apply. All applicable federal and state tax rules apply.
