American 1 Teen Idol

American 1 Credit Union is searching for the most talented singers in the area to compete in our eighth annual American 1 Teen Idol competition in July. Teen Idol is an event designed to promote performance art to students and to raise money for local charities. 

The deadline to sign up for auditions has now passed. Good luck to all of the teens who will be auditioning!
 
Grand Finale & Prizes
The top ten singers will perform in our American 1 Teen Idol competition on Friday, July 27th at the Jackson County Fairgrounds.
 
1st place - $1,000 and a brand new iPad
2nd place - $250
3rd place - $150
4th - 10th place - $50 each
Charity Fundraising
Top ten performers are required to raise a minimum of $250 & to declare a charity of choice. $2,000 will automatically be donated to Jackson School of the Arts, and any amount over the $2,000 will be donated to the winner’s charity of choice.

This event directly benefits the Jackson School of the Arts in Jackson; $2,000 will be donated from contestants fundraising as well as all proceeds from concessions.

This temporary unlimited coverage is in addition to, and separate from, the coverage of at least $250,000 available to members under the NCUA's general share insurance rules. The term \"noninterest-bearing transaction account\" includes a traditional share draft account (or demand deposit account) on which the insured credit union pays no interest or dividend. It does not include any transaction account that may earn interest or dividends, a negotiable order of withdrawal (\"NOW\") account, money-market deposit account, and Interest on Lawyers Trust Account (\"IOLTA\"), even if share drafts may be drawn on the account. For more information about temporary NCUA insurance coverage of transaction accounts, visit www.ncua.gov. (2) If an insured credit union uses sweep arrangements, modifies the terms of an account, or takes other actions that result in funds no longer being eligible for full coverage under this section, the insured credit union must notify affected members and clearly advise them, in writing, that such actions will affect their share insurance coverage.
